Nicholas A. Gravante, the founder of the firm, practiced law for over 50 years in the areas of real estate, complex business transactions, tax planning, and trust and estate law. He became a Public Accountant before becoming an attorney and practiced across this spectrum throughout his career.

Richard S. Gravante has been practicing law for more than 25 years and is admitted to the Bar in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. He specializes in residential and commercial real estate law and finance, and he has represented clients in transactions ranging from $25,000 to $30,000,000. Mr. Gravante also has an active tax planning and preparation practice for both personal and business taxes. On account of his experience in this field, he is able to better serve his real estate and business clients by structuring transactions to ensure minimal tax liability.

In addition, Mr. Gravante has extensive experience in corporate law, including the formation of all legal entities, and estate planning, including the preparation of wills and trusts, and probate and administration. He is also a licensed real estate broker and can often “bundle services” at a discounted rate to include closing costs, estate and personal tax returns, and probate and administration fees.  

He serves as outside Counsel to 5 Under Forty, a foundation that provides women under forty in the New York Metro and New Jersey area with comprehensive resources and vital tools necessary for the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer and those diagnosed with the BRCA gene mutation. He also served as a member of the board of directors for Camp Good Grief of Staten Island, Inc., a nonprofit organization that assists bereaved children, teens, and their families cope with their special needs.
